The minimum energy efficiency rating for new home builds in Queensland is 6 stars. You should confer with your builder as to how you can design the layout of your home to afford the maximum energy efficiency.
How long does a new home build take?

We customise our designs to suit your unique situation, so timelines can vary. For basic plans on easy terrain, the process can take 6 months. A more complex, customised design on a challenging block may take up to a year. However, we will work with you to ensure we can meet your expectations from the outset.
What is the Queensland First Homeowners Grant?

This is a state government initiative, intended to help first-time homeowners move in more rapidly. If you have a contract that is dated 1 July 2018 or later, you may be eligible for the Queensland grant of $15,000 towards buying or building your house, townhouse, or unit (valued at less than $750,000). This grant is paid per new home.
